Kathleen was born on July 9th, 1922, and she died Septermber 29th last year. She lived to 100. She was a student at Birkbenk College, and gained her bachelor's degree in Math from the University of London. She also eaned a PhD in Applied Mathmatics. She wrote an assembly language and designed an assembler and auto code for the University of London. She was a pioneer of crystallongraphy anaylsis, which later contributed to work in DNA structure, She was a co-designer of three of th worl'ds earliest computer and authored two different books on programming and computer design.
